The New Year is always a great time to set goals for yourself. Wipe your slate clean and start off on a fresh foot with my joyous health tip!

Your health is your absolute BEST asset. Take advantage of how incredible you can feel with the foods you choose to put into your body. Whether you realize it or not, your food choices affect your emotional state -- whether you are a happy, sad, agitated, depressed or joyous. They also affect your skin health and this is a direct result of good vs poor digestion and guess what? All this is affected by the foods you eat!

Tip #4 for Joyous Health:

Eat or drink something GREEN everyday - warning: this may change your life! Green foods are ENERGIZING and make your skin GLOW. A wonderful source of vitamins A, B, C, E and minerals such as iron, magnesium and potassium. They are liver-loving-cleansing-and-detoxifying (aka weight loss). Greens balance your blood sugar and are a source of protein (especially the leafy greens) for vegetarians. Greens will make you joyous!

Choose from this list below. These are just the most common greens you can find in any grocery store, but there are plenty more.

Kale , spinach, arugula, swiss chard, beet greens, green leafy lettuce (not head or romaine lettuce)

Broccoli, bok choy

Green peppers

Wheatgrass juice

Celery

Asparagus

Brussel sprouts

Herbs -- the sky is the limit here. My top faves: basil, cilantro, parsley

Green tea (loose leaf of course)

Variety is key -- don't get stuck on eating the same foods day after day. Experiment and check out my recipes section for more ideas. If you are looking for more reasons to get joy into your life, then check out my other joyous health tips. There are very simple changes you can make for a new and improved you that don't require a whole heck of a lot of effort. The side effect of good health is weight loss. But more important than this, when you look good, you feel good.

Be well and joyous!

Thank you for being so inspirational and passionate. How can one NOT like your page. It's just a shame that I can not buy any of your products since I live outside North America. Perhaps it will change? All the best and keep the good spirit!
