Almond Joy Bites

If you're like me at all and have a sweet tooth but try to eat pretty healthy then you'll love these Almond Joy Bites! Back in the day I used to love almond
Mar 17, 2015 | Lauren Lomsdalen

If you're like me at all and have a sweet tooth but try to eat pretty healthy then you'll love these Almond Joy Bites! Back in the day I used to love almond joys. But...they're not exactly good for us though are they?

The way I've been able to maintain a healthy lifestyle and make it fun is by making healthier versions of what I crave. These do just that! They satisfy my sweet tooth, while providing me energy and nutrition, unlike the candy bar. They're so easy to make because you don't even need to bake them. Just throw all your ingredients in the food processor, roll them into balls and voila!

They'll keep in an air-tight container in the fridge for a couple weeks (though I doubt you can keep em that long, they're so good!).

They make a perfect snack on the go. I hope you love them as much as I do!

Do the dates have to be soaked first?

If I wanted to add protein powder to this, how much would you recommend? Thanks

Hi There, I LOVE the taste of these. But I'm having an issue with stickiness...so much so that they won't roll. Any suggestions? Thanks:)

These are good! I think next time I will leave out the honey, as I think they are sweet enough without it

Can I leave out the coconut or is this a binding agent?
