Raspberry Cheesecake Smoothie

Here's my recipe for a smoothie that tastes like cheesecake but is good for you too!
May 15, 2020 | Joy McCarthy

I know I've got a yummy smoothie when Vienna says "ooooooh, YUMMY, YUMMY" and Walker says "mmmm, this is realllllly good". And then in less than 5 minute they've both slurped it back! This was the case with this creamy raspberry smoothie. It was hard to get photo because Vienna kept sticking here finger in it.

This recipe is...

  • Creamy, naturally sweet and could be a dessert too!
  • Paleo and vegan if you use coconut yogurt
  • Gluten-free
  • Grain-free
  • Kid-approved
  • Packed with good fat and protein

I used Genuine Health's organic fermented vegan protein powder. It's the only protein powder that doesn't make me bloated. That's because the plant proteins are fermented which makes them easier to digest.

Raspberry Smoothie

This protein powder has 7 different organic and fermented plant-based proteins making it an ideal addition to boost the protein in your meal. Vienna thinks the vanilla flavoured protein powder tastes like 'ice cream'.

Sounds delicious. I’d love to make it for my grandchildren. However they can’t have cashews can I leave them out or is there another option?

Looks delicious! I don’t have cashews, unless I pick them out of my nut mixture...will almonds work, or do I need a softer nut?

I just made this and am enjoying it as I write. Delicious! I didn't have any protein powder so used pure vanilla extract.

For someone that has a peanut and tree nut allergy what could I use to replace the cashews?
